Planeswalker – Sarkhan
+1: Draw a card, then add one mana of any color to your mana pool.
-2: Put a 4/4 red Dragon creature token with flying onto the battlefield.
-8: Search your library for any number of Dragon creature cards and put them onto the battlefield. then shuffle your library.
Sarkhan Unbroken lives up to his name. This card surely isn’t broken. It’s certainly good, but nowhere near broken.
See that +1, though? Draw a card, get a mana. The turn he comes down that’s probably only going to cast an Elvish Mystic but who cares? Sarkhan’s probably coming down turn three. Make a dragon so he lives and next turn you can cast almost any of the Dragonlords on turn four. Because that’s what Sarkhan would want. Turn four Dragonlord Atarka to blow up your opponent’s board and get ready to smash through the skies for eight damage.
That ultimate ability is going to rock kitchen tables and EDH pods for years to come. Scion of the Ur-Dragon EDH is going to summon up 30-60 dragons and point them all at your opponent’s heads. The Dragonlords, their minions, original Elder Dragons, Bogardan Hellkite. This is the Dragonstorm to end all Dragonstorms.
